In the heart of the Garden Route, just above the
village of Wilderness, you will find the settlement
of Hoekwil.
It has the majestic Outeniqua Mountains as a backdrop
from where it overlooks the Serpentine River and
the Indian Ocean. There you will find Lavender Villa
(Latin for country house), a private and exclusive
guest house for the discerning traveller. Lavender
Villa overlooks breathtaking indigenous forest, home
to the Knysna Loerie, various Kingfishers and numerous
endemic birds, easily sighted from the hammock on
your private veranda. |

Your hosts, Dirk and Salomie Coetsee,
invite you to the Villa to enjoy sophisticated
French country flair with attention to every detail
for an unforgettable stay.
The fireplace will welcome
you into the luxurious lounge where you can enjoy
complimentary port, freshly cut flowers, a mini library and home-baked biscuits.
Lavendar
Villa ideally sleeps two, although extra guests
can be accommodated by arrangement. We guarantee
a good night’s rest in the impressive bedroom
that offers the finest Percale linen, heated bedding as well as soft white bath
robes and slippers. |
|
|
The en-suite bathroom is equipped with an unique
glass-roof shower in addition to other luxuries such
as heated towel rails, hairdryer, corner bath and
an overhead bathroom heating system.
Wake up to a classic gourmet breakfast, caringly
prepared by Salomie, served wherever her guests prefer;
on the veranda, at the dining room table or in the
French garden. Should the fireplace and homely ambiance
prevent you from going out for dinner, you can arrange
to have dinner at the Villa and enjoy Salomie’s
personal style with specially prepared cuisine. This
is complimented by a choice from a selection of the
Cape’s finest wines. |
